Natalia Rivera y Jung Hsu are part of the group of winners of the Art & Science category in the Falling Walls Award from Berlin, with the project Bi0film.net: Resist like bacteria, co-created with Mutante and Medienhaus/.
The prize is part of the Falling Walls Science Summit, the leading forum for global science leaders with focus on science breakthroughs. The summit takes place every year in Berlin from 7 – 9 November, the anniversary day of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
In the Art and Science category, we share this recognition with amazing sci-artists such as Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau, with their project "The Artwork as a Living System", Ana María Gómez, Colombian artist, with her project "Inoculate", and Margareth Wertheim with her work "Crochet Coral Reef" of Women-Centered Community-Based Sci-Art
